View this CD at AMAZON.   Notarztwagen 7, Soundtrack to the legendary 13part series from 1976 just in time to the 30th anniversary, discovered and published by K³ GbR - Institut für mediale Prävention (never heard of before).   Under the title "Große deutsche Filmkomponisten" (Great German Filmcomposers) Bear-Family has now issued in Vol. 5 a Peter Thomas-CD-Sampler - BCD 16485 AR, EAN-Code: 4000127164858. Among the 34 tracks are many already issued in other CDs (as again the music of "Der Zinker", "Die seltsame Gräfin" and "Das Verrätertor" which only just recently had been on the Majolika Lounge-CD for having been used in the George-Clooney-movie), but also some really rare tracks, as the never before published music of the crime-movie "Der Diamantenprinz" or of "Die Schlangengrube und das Pendel" and some vocal tracks.   JAZZ CLUB - Peter-Thomas-Sound-Orchester New Sounds For Oldtimers CD with 20 rare tracks "typical Peter Thomas", Boutique 06007 5307348 3 View and listen to the CD at AMAZON. To celebrate the 80ies birthday of Peter Thomas Ring-Musik issued two CDs with unpublished tracks of Peter Thomas under the title "Peter Thomas - Full Speed @ 80". CD1 contains 21 and CD2 contains 22 tracks. In the meantime the CDs are also available at AMAZON.   Old LP on new CD-release A long time ago there was a release of the soundtrack of the Erich-von-Däniken-movie "Erinnerungen an die Zukunft" of 1970 (picture left), that, of course on this page, was composed by Peter Thomas. The LP had two long tracks entitled "Erinnerungen an die Zukunft" (17:40) and "Zurück zu den Sternen" (17:21). There were 18 short subtitle as to know, what the music was all about, but they couldn't be played as own tracks. Now, we have 2009 and in Germany eyeryone speaks Denglish. Some avid people from the label "Jazz Club" thought it to be time enough for a re-release of the music on CD (of course). Looking to the international market, where Peter Thomas still is known to many a fan (even George Clooney knows him --- ... who's George Clooney?) the CD got the international known title "Chariots of the Gods?" and, as von Däniken himself confessed, that there are some "minor" errors in his first bestselling book, the Jazz-Club-people added an question-mark to the title as precaution (that of course is missing on the movie posters at IMDb. As an enhancement to the old LP, we now can select each of the now 29 tracks individually and even buy them at some internet-sellers as MP3. Well, I could have imagined, that the music of the 1976-film "Botschaft der Götter" also would have fit onto this CD, but let's be content for the time being and listen to the CD at German Amazon (the English Amazon at the moment doesn't have any track listings and no MP3s - and, by the way, is still listing the both tracks from the old LP, although they have the back-cover with all the tracks from the jewel-case at the CD-pictures. Will try to see this repaired....). "Education of the first kind" The sexually frustrated American should have come to Europe in the 60ies. Here you could see, without any shame, naked people on the cinema screen. Well, for education purposes only, of course! The music to several of these movies also were made by Peter Thomas and now, for the very first time (40 years later!) we are able to listen to the forgotten music to the both "Van de Velde"-sex education movies „Das Leben zu zweit“ (aka "Every Night of the Week", 1969) and „Die vollkommene Ehe“ (aka "The Perfect Marriage", 1968, of which only a super-rare LP in Canada once was published) - accompanied by a 24-page-booklet in German and English with liner notes by author Marco Geßner, who just recently published a book about Peter Thomas - this CD is to find at least at German Amazon.
